Copeland, Sandra Ruth

The death of Sandra Copeland (nee Clark) occurred at Tay Place Nursing Home on July 19th, 2010 after a long battle with Diabetes. Sandra was born in Minto, NB on August 11th, 1950.

Survived by her husband, Allan; one son, Ritchie; two brothers, Patrick (Millicent) and Dennis (Annie); and several uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.

Sandra was predeceased by her father, Benjamin Clark; mother, Francis Clark, older sister, Mary King (Clayton) and infant daughter, Tammy Louise (1967).

Sandra resided in nursing homes for nearly 10 years. There she met many friends, enjoyed her doll collection and photo albums, putting jig-saw puzzles together, occasionally going to the mall and socializing with her family and friends. She was a member of the local Ladies Birthday Club and enjoyed meeting with the ladies on their birthdays whenever she was able.

Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St., on Thursday, July 22nd, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Friday, July 23rd at 2 pm from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Keith Howlett officiating. Interment will be in the Waasis Cemetery.
