Iva Roberta Cliff


Iva Roberta (Curtis) Cliff passed away peacefully in Fredericton, NB, on July 14, 2017. Born May 8, 1952 in Lower Derby, NB, she was the daughter of the late Perley and Gwendolene Curtis.

Iva is survived by her husband, Vernon Cliff; daughter, Kelli Johnson (Rick); sons, Gordon (Tara), Philip (Christine), Michael (Amy); sisters, Yvonne Tucker (Norman), Sharon Holt (Roderick), and Brenda Mountain (Tim); brothers, Lynn (Edna Mae), Perley (Pauline), and Andrew (Melanie); grandchildren, Sarah, Jess, Brandi, Randy, Brittani, Rachelle, Ricky, Sterling, Jeremy, Brandon, and Jordan; and many great–grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Iva was predeceased by her three brothers, Ivan, Allen, and Benson. Iva will also be missed by many more family and friends.

Iva was a kind and gentle woman who loved to spend time with her family, taking care of others, taking pictures (especially her feathered friends), a 25 year employee at Oromocto McDonalds, and the president of the Oromocto Pioneers Square Dancing Club.

The family is very appreciative of all support given from family, friends, and the staff of Horizon Health, Hospice Fredericton, and Extra Mural.

Visitation will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 18 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. The funeral service will take place in Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 10 am with Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley officiating. Interment will be in Prince William Community Cemetery. Donations in Iva's memory can be made to Hospice Fredericton, Canadian Diabetes Association, New Brunswick Extra-Mural Program, or Canadian Cancer Society.
