Peter Thomas Hetherington

Peter Thomas Hetherington

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Thomas Hetherington on February 5, 2018. Born on October 3, 1962, he is the son of Ardyth (McLeod) and the late William Joseph Hetherington.

He is survived by his loving spouse of 32 years, Norma (Whitlock) Hetherington; 3 sons, William "Billy", Cody and Austin Hetherington; brothers, David and Steven (Denis Machum); sister, Wendy Byron; nephews, Tony, Brad, Chris, Mike, Justin, Jason and Matt; as well as several cousins.

He was a loving dad, husband and always had a smile on his face. He loved hunting fishing and spending time at the camp with us, his sons.  He taught us everything to know about the woods and how to fix our bicycles and now vehicles when we break them. In the past few years he's really taken an interest in cooking and making gourmet meals with little tips he's picked up watching TV, he also went from barely being able to work his flip phone to being able to get on Facebook or google and searching up how to fix his truck all by himself. Dad’s proudest accomplishment was getting his bus licence and becoming a bus driver. He loved every minute of his job, driving his kids to and from school every day. The kids loved him and couldn't wait to get on the bus with Peter. At Christmas time the window ledge in the kitchen was over loaded with gifts from all his kids. He was the best loving dad anyone could ask for and now we must say goodbye.
