Obituary of Edwin Arthur Wood

The family of Edwin Arthur Wood of Minto, New Brunswick, sadly announces he passed away on March 17, 2024, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton.

Edwin was born in 1954 to John and Mary (White) Wood in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He attended schools in Oromocto and graduated from Oromocto High School in 1972. Edwin loved to hunt and fish with his brothers, uncles, and cousins. After graduation, he worked for the Town of Oromocto for many years.

Edwin is survived by siblings Wayne (Lynne), Nancy (Barry), Larry (Carol), George (Wendy), Janice (Dave), Patricia (Dave), and several nieces and nephews.

We would like to express our thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the DECRH who participated in his care.

A private family celebration of Life will take place at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the John Wood Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
